Miss Global 2014 Ela Mino is currently in Manila for the launching of Miss Global 2015 to be hosted by the Philippines. The final show will be on Oct 24, 2015 at the Resorts World Manila. She is with Miss Global Executives together with her 3rd and 4th runners up. They are joined by Catherine Almirante, Miss Global Philippines 2014 and Miss Global 2014 2nd runner up.

“It’s a groundbreaking move for a beauty pageant to gather single women and single moms for the same competition,” said Miss Global Philippine National Pageant Director and CEO Pauline Laping.

Miss Global Organization’s mission is to provide a powerful platform to unify women from all parts of the globe and they are setting a new standard to allow a more diverse selection of qualified women who can be a true global icon to females from all over the world!

MISS GLOBAL PHILIPPINES, the country’s newest internationally-affiliated beauty pageant, is proud to announce its 2nd year in search of candidates who will represent the country to show the world the unique Filipina beauty, intellect and grace. The MISS GLOBAL international competition has ushered in a new era by introducing a whole new level of openness never-before-seen in beauty pageants on a global scale.

In terms of advocacies, MISS GLOBAL PHILIPPINES has made a tremendous impact with the community by actively partnering with different charitable institutions (feeding program, medical missions etc.) and environmental projects of DENR.

Twenty two selected candidates will compete for the Title Miss Global Philippines 2015 on September 5, 2015 at Resorts World Manila to be aired at ABS-CBN Channel 2 and the privileged to represent our flag against beauties from all over the world for the coveted Miss Global 2015 international crown.

It’s green and go for the newest beauty search in the country as it presented its official candidates to the members of the press recently at Hotel H2O in Manila. Miss Global Philippines is set to conquer the beauty pageant scene by taking a bold step in searching for its first ever titleholder. For starters, Miss Global Philippines puts together both qualified single and single moms on one stage to compete for the right to represent the Philippine in the Miss Global Pageant later this year.

“It’s a groundbreaking move for a beauty pageant to gather single women and single moms for the same competition,” said Miss Global Philippine National Pageant Director and CEO Pauline Laping.

“We look beyond their status and focus on what they can do to inspire others. By giving equal opportunity to beauty queen aspirants, Miss Global Philippines hopes to boost the confidence of women and empower them to do more,” Pauline added.

In addition to its mission to empower Filipino women, Miss Global Philippines is also set to embark on numerous projects and activities aimed at promoting Philippine tourism. Throughout the years, beauty queens have been effective spokespersons in showcasing the country’s natural wonders.

Miss Global Philippines is also geared towards helping our government put the Philippines on the international spotlight by promoting our world-class tourism destinations. As beauty titlist and pageant COO Stephany Stefanowitz put it, “We envision our candidates and eventual winners to be not just be proud of themselves, but also proud of our culture and heritage.”

The winner of the pageant will represent the Philippines in the Miss Global pageant, which will be held on December 19 on board the Crown Princess that will sail from California, USA to Mexico.

The inaugural pageant of Miss Global Philippines is slated on October 11, Saturday, 7 PM at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila, and will have a delayed telecast on GMA News TV on October 19.
